Ed Kleinhammer
Edward Kleinhammer was the bass trombonist in the Chicago Symphony for 45 years and taught countless successful students. He wrote The Art of Trombone Playing and co-wrote Mastering the Trombone with Doug Yeo. Doug has an extensive webpage devoted to his friend and teacher. I never studied with Mr. Kleinhammer but wore out a few copies of his book and listened to him endlessly. To say he was an influence is to understate. (Listen below.)
