Welcome to my rudimentary, amateur-hour, DIY website. The information here is for my students (though I suspect few take advantage), but anyone is welcome to it – if interested! A lot of it is general; some is specific to the bass trombone. There is nothing for sale herein (there are a couple endorsements and some recommendations).
All roads do not lead to Rome, but several do; this is just mine. Much of the information on this site is not necessary to learn how to play. However, it informs my pedagogy – and an insight into the "voices in my head" may be helpful – or not. Be warned, I tend to wax long-winded – sorry, not sorry.
Also, this site evolves regularly as does my thinking from time to time. Occasional revisits my be productive – or not.
I am not interested in debate; if this site is useful – fine – if not – fine. And, as may be obvious, I am NOT an IT wizard, a scientist, nor an academic – nor do I have an editor. I'm a retired last-chair trombone player (who had a pretty good run). If there is a problem, let me know and I will try to fix it.
