The entire LA recording of the Sinfonietta with Previn is up (for now) on YouTube. In this movement, Ralph Sauer has a couple elegant little solos at 3:11 or so. In rehearsal, the whole orchestra gave him a little shuffle of applause. This lick is echoed by yours truly and the cellos and basses ca. 4:03; it may not be as elegant in our hands, but Jeff gave a thumbs up.
