ROGER BOBO
Roger Bobo is certainly one of the most influential tubists – and musicians – of all time. He was very generous to me as a young man, treating me as a colleague, not a kid. We remained friends until his passing. There is a wealth of information about Roger below (and elsewhere online). Roger's 1961 Carnegie Hall Recital inspired John Updike's poem, Recital.
